An excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing SME that prides itself on working with high-quality and profitable client instructions.

Combined with a low-cost base and simple business model, this leads to excellent and transparent bonuses that far exceed the industry average.

The removal of bureaucratic red tape often associated with large firms makes this appointment ideal for any individual looking to avoid company politics whilst being rewarded fairly for their efforts.

Working with Landlord investor-based clients, you will be working with some prestigious commercial portfolios consisting of office, industrial and retail property types.

Responsibilities:

- Building Maintenance – A building that is well looked after keeps its value and can prevent large-scale failure.

- Building Surveys– Whether it is commercial, industrial or retail properties, leasehold or freehold acquisitions of individual properties or national portfolios, you will carry out specialist technical due diligence service to scrutinise every aspect of the transaction, leaving no stone unturned and your advice is independent, professional and can be tailored to specific client requirements.

- Development & Project Monitoring– If a client has a commercial interest in development, but no immediate control over its construction, you will protect their interests and keep them fully informed.

- Dilapidations– acting for both Landlords and tenants to provide pragmatic advice on how best to manage dilapidations issues, both during a lease and at expiry.

- Project Management/ Contract Administration– listen to client property needs and business drivers and help develop a strategy and then project manage it to completion.

- Reinstatement Cost Assessments– undertaking single property or a large portfolio of Reinstatement Cost Assessments.

Ideally, you will be MRICS qualified, although this is not essential.

You must have experience working as a Building Surveyor on a commercial portfolio consisting of offices, industrial or retail properties.
